X. High Wheel Hieroglyph

This is just a tiny little piece, about 3x3 inches, and pretty simple. I was thinking about Taino hieroglyphs and something that was synonymous of Frederick and I thought of the high wheel race. I wanted to do a piece with a high wheel bike, but everything about it is so thin and skinny that it’s not very conducive to a stone sculpture. So instead I tried to do a hieroglyph-like representation. It was too easy to make, so I won’t bother with a grade, but I still put it out there because I like it!
