III. The Cow

The cow is one of my favorites so far. Just a cow’s head set in relief, the cow’s head and horns jut out from the stone. Yes, cows have horns, they just lop them off at the farm. It was inspired by Angel Botello’s many paintings with cows and big cows heads- big, happy cows. It was the first piece of work found! but it was in an obvious location, under the Golden Calf along Carroll Creek in Frederick. Overall satisfaction, 5 out of 5!
