XXIV. Tio Pepe

This piece is based upon the advertising for Tio Pepe sherry made in the south of Spain. If you’ve been to Spain you may have seen giant silhouette billboards placed in the distant hills along with the Osborne bull. About as iconic as Joe Camel used to be here. All in all pretty cool to see because they are huge on the hillside. This piece is taken from their advertising that shows the detail of a traditional Spanish Flamenco dancer with his hat and bolero jacket and Spanish guitar. I’ve been wanting to do this piece for some time, glad I managed to finally get around to it. It was placed at my favorite wine shop, Spin the Bottle.
